Chips JU Call Focus Topics on Automotive ECS Information Session


The European automotive industry is undergoing a transformative shift driven by rapid advancements in digital technologies, electrification, and the growing demand for connected and autonomous vehicles. Successfully navigating this transition is of critical importance and presents both an opportunity and a challenge for Europe.  

The Chips Joint Undertaking has launched three call topics in this area as part of the ECS calls of its Work Programme 2025:

  • AI-assisted methods and tools for Software-Defined Vehicle engineering automation (HORIZON-Chips-2025-IA FT2)

  • Heterogeneous integration for high-performance automotive computing (HORIZON-Chips-2025-IA HIA)
