SCCC

The Swedish Chips Competence Centre (SCCC) will be the Swedish node in the European Network of Chips Competence Centres (ENCCC). SCCC will provide services mainly, but not uniquely, to Swedish actors relevant to the European Chips Act. The centre will primarily provide services, education and training to SMEs and start-ups active in businesses along the semiconductor value chain i.e. from materials, devices and chip design to packaging. SCCC will collaborate with other centres in Europe to strengthen the support while minimising redundancies in the palette of offers to the users, with a mission to bridge the gap between digital technology research and market deployment. In summary, SCCC will •�be the first choice for Swedish SMEs and startups for approaching European Chips Act and Chips JU, •�be the Swedish hub for all chips related competences and networks, •�agile to fit its service portfolio to the needs of the users, both current and future, •�be the entry point for European stakeholders to Swedish unique competences and facilities, •�offer the education needed for a broad range of stakeholders in accessing The Design platform, •�have a dedicated entrance to help users to access the Swedish part of WBG Pilot Line, •�channel the latest semiconductor research from Swedish academia and RTOs to Swedish and European industry, •�facilitate access to business development resources, including legal compliance and venture capital.
