The Chips JU is the European public-private partnership that promotes the development and adoption of
advanced nano-electronic chip technologies and systems manufactured in Europe.
The Chips JU programme is structured into two parts that address the needs of Europe's
semiconductor ecosystem: Chips for Europe Initiative and Electronic Components and
Systems Research and Innovation (ECS R&I).
Members
The Chips JU is a European tripartite public-private partnership, that brings together the European Union, Participating States and Private Members to support research, innovation, skills development and large-scale capacity building across the entire semiconductor value chain.
Private Members
The Private Members consist of the three industry associations: AENEAS, EPoSS, and INSIDE Industry Association. They shape strategic priorities and ensure alignment with industry needs.
